1. Jub Jub was born 29 June 1980 and bred in Soweto, Orlando East as a part of a family of 5. He is 40 years old.

2. He was the first South African to get a scholarship at the popular FAME school – La Guardia High School for the Performing Arts. The school is located in NewYork, Manhattan. This is where he finished high school.

3. Molemo grew up being passionate about the entertainment business from a young age.

4 Jub Jub dated the singer and actress Kelly Khumalo before his sentence.

5. Molemo Maarohanye has a son with Kelly Khumalo. The handsome child’s name is Christian.

6. In 2009, he launched his record label, Rare Breed Entertainment where he worked together with Sheer Music.

7. On the 8th of March 2010, he and his friend Themba Tshabalala caused an accident that led to the loss of lives and permanent damage on school children. This was after the two got involved in drag racing while under the influence of drugs. The race happened on a public road that is near a school. As a result, a total of four children lost their lives while two suffered severe head injuries that damaged their brains.

8. On the 5th of December 2012, Jub Jub and his friend were sentenced to 25 years of jail for attempted murder and three related offences. The two appeared in the court ruling and were heard on 7 February 2014. The same year on October, their murder ruling was weighed down in a high court in Johannesburg, to culpable homicide. This led to their sentence being reduced to 10 years from 2012.
